The goal of Tsavo’s Canine Rehabilitation & Fitness Center is to provide
treatment to patients in need in a timely manner. Every missed appointment
results in another patient not receiving proper care.
Cancellations and or rescheduling of appointments must be made 24 hours in
advance. Missed appointments will be billed accordingly.
Hydrotherapy Policy
It is very expensive and time consuming to decontaminate the water after a
poop accident, and clean filter units that are clogged with hair. Please arrive
early and allow you dog a last minute chance to “go potty”. Do not feed your dog
2-4hrs prior to your arrival. There is a $75 fee for decontaminating the pool.
- All dogs must be brushed before each appointment.
- Dogs Must be on Leash at All Times.
Absolutely! We request that you be present during the initial consult, and encourage you to stay for all subsequent treatments. Knowledge and awareness is key to your dog’s successful rehabilitation.
Unfortunately not. Our liability insurance will not support this.
Yes. We are both a rehabilitation & fitness center. We have multiple kids that come for fitness, prevention, and fun!
We do have towels on hand, but request that you bring your own. Our goal is to lower expenses, so as to offer our services at a reasonable, affordable rate.
No problem. Our 1300sqf facility is large enough to bring a friend! Often times, clients will request that we schedule a swim session for the house-mate while the patient is being treated.
This is a 1.5-2hr appointment, and includes: getting a thorough history, performing a full head-to-toe examination, and completing the first treatment. We will then e-mail a complete list of recommendations and options for rehabilitation.
Some dogs may recover after 4-6 sessions, while others may need to continue rehabilitation treatments indefinitely. Frequency and Length of Follow-up and Maintenance Therapy are patient specific.
Absolutely. Although we offer a multitude of modalities to help heal your pet, we do not provide diagnostic, surgical, or routine veterinary services at Tsavo’s.
Yes. When you call to schedule an appointment, we will request information about your regular veterinarian and any specialists your pet has seen. We will contact these individuals directly, requesting medical records and a completed referral letter. We work closely with your veterinarian, ensuring they receive regular updates on your pet’s progress.
